DAY 1 ROME
Arrival transfer with a local English-speaking assistant to your Hotel in Rome. Check-in at the hotel. A sparkling bottle of wine and a cake awaits you in your room to celebrate your arrival in the Eternal City! Balance the day at leisure to discover the Eternal City. Optional sightseeing tours are available. Overnight at the hotel.

 

DAY 2 ROME B
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning at leisure. Start your afternoon with a romantic horse carriage tour in Rome or select to sightsee the Colosseum, the Pantheon, and the Spanish Steps, visit the Vatican City, or any of many activities. End the day with a romantic candlelight dinner (breathtaking view of Rome). Overnight at the hotel.

 

DAY 3 ROME B
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning at leisure. Today enjoy a day at leisure or ice cream at the famous Giolitti Bar, known for having served royalties and VIPs including the Obama family during their first visit to Rome. Continue your own walking tour in the historical center of Rome and reach Piazza Navona where the caricature artist Giamprovvé will draw a cartoon picture for you. Balance of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

 

DAY 4 ROME - FLORENCE B
After breakfast, transfer to the Rome train station for your ride to Florence.
Arrival at the Florence Train Station. Meet and greet your English-speaking assistant and transfer to your hotel. Check-in and balance of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

 

DAY 5 FLORENCE B

After breakfast, join a guided walking tour. Stroll down cobblestone lanes, through majestic squares, and across ancient bridges, pausing along the way to visit and learn about Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza Della Signoria, the cathedral, and Giotto’s bell tower the Duomo and the Accademia. Florence offers the largest number of historical buildings and works of art in Italy, as well as several world-class museums.

 

DAY 6 FLORENCE B

This morning you have the day at leisure to explore Florence the city of Michelangelo, a paradise for art lovers and shopping enthusiasts. You may also choose to visit the Uffizi Gallery with a guide. This can be arranged by request, including professional guide and museum entrance fees.

 

DAY 7 FLORENCE - VENICE B
After breakfast, transfer to the Florence Train Station for your ride to Venice.
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to the train station for your train ride to the floating city of Venice. More than 100 small islands make up the city. Upon arrival check into your hotel. The remainder of the day on your own to explore the city of Canals, Gondolas, romance & fantasy.

 

DAY 8 VENICE B
This remarkable floating city boasts the most extraordinary collection of architectural styles in Europe. Your walking tour includes the Doge’s palace, St. Mark’s square, the Golden Basilica & the ridge of sights. Afternoon at leisure or you may enjoy experiencing a scenic gondola ride. You may also explore the famous island of Murano and visit a glass-blowing factory. In the evening you may enjoy a nice dinner at the restaurant La Scala, famous for its regional dishes. Overnight at the hotel.

 

DAY 9 VENICE B
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you may choose to discover the province of Treviso and one of the most famous wine regions of Italy, the Valdobbiadene. This region is located in the foothills of the Alps, and this is where the famous Prosecco wine comes from. This all-day excursion explores the land, the people, and the culture that produce Italy's national treasure in a glass. Departures from Venice Piazzale Roma and reach the town of Revine Lago, nestled between Lago di San Giorgio and Lago di Santa Maria where you will enjoy spectacular views of the Dolomites. Continue to Castel Brando, the magnificent 18th-century castle above the ancient hamlet of Cison di Valmarino and reach The Abbey of Follina, a small Renaissance town famed for its silk and wool.

Last but not least you will enter the Prosecco area and visit a Prosecco winery to see the wine-making process from grape to glass. Enjoy a wine tasting! Return to Venice and overnight at the hotel.

 

DAY 10 VENICE B
After breakfast check out and depart to your next destination.
