Itinerary (B = breakfast, D = dinner)
 
DAY 1: ATHENS Arrival at the Athens International Airport and transfer to your hotel in the city. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

DAY 2: ATHENS (B) After breakfast depart on a city tour of Athens which will introduce you to the most important sites of the city. You will visit the famed Acropolis with its dominating view, and the site of the renowned Parthenon, one of the most impressive structures in the world, followed by a visit to the Acropolis Museum. The remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight in Athens.

DAY 3: ATHENS - OLYMPIA (B, D) After breakfast, early morning departure by air-conditioned motor coach to start on a historical Tour of Greece. A drive via the coastal road to the Corinth Canal (short stop). Continue on to Mycenae to see the Lion Gate and the Beehive Tombs of King Agamemnon. Then to Epidaurus to visit the world-renowned theater. A short stop at the picturesque town of Nafplion. Then depart for Olympia through the central Peloponnese towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Dinner and overnight in Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic Games.

DAY 4: OLYMPIA - DELPHI (B, D) In the morning visit the Archaeological Museum of Olympia the Site of the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium, and the Archaeological Museum. You will also see one of the greatest sculptures of all time, “Hermes” by Praxiteles.

Then drive on through the plains of Eliad and Achaia, reaching the magnificent bridge crossing the Corinthian Sea from Rion to Antirion. Pass through the picturesque towns of Nafpaktos and Itea. Arrive at Delphi. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: DELPHI - METEORA (B, D) Today you visit the Delphi Archaeological Site, the Castillian Spring and the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia, and the Museum. Depart for Kalambaka, a small town situated at the foot of the astonishing natural gigantic rocky complex of Meteora. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: METEORA - ATHENS (B) After breakfast visit Meteora amongst the striking scenery, perched on top of huge rock formations which seem suspended in mid-air. Meteora is a cluster of monastic buildings perched in an unforgettable manner on a set of rising rock formations. Here stand ageless Monasteries where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine Art. In the Afternoon commence the drive to Athens, passing by the Valley of Tempi, Lamia, Thermopylae (visit Leonida's Monument), and Kammena Vourla. Arrival in Athens early in the evening for overnight.

DAY 7: ATHENS (B) Day at leisure. You may embark on an optional tour, go on a shopping spree in the fashionable shops of nearby Kolonaki Square or, simply join the locals and relax by enjoying a cup of strong coffee and watching the people bustling about as they tend to the everyday affairs of this modern city. Overnight in Athens.

DAY 8: ATHENS - DEPARTURE (B) Transfer to the airport for the flight to your next destination... or continue on with a cruise of your choice!
